After reversing the school fees of the Benue state University Makurdi, Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue State has again increased the school fees of one of the state owned tertiary institutions, the College Of Education Katsina Ala.
The state government which has being desperate to increase internally generated revenue (IGR) due to dwindling oil prices is said to have ordered the increment in the tuition fee by over 100%, a situation which has prompted the students of the institution to stage a protest for total reversal.
