Mother Tongue: A close look at Parents and Children.

Mother language or Mother tongue, which is also widely known as dialect or native language, is the indigenous language of one’s parents which is usually the first language learnt by him/her. In the same vein, it is also referred to as the language of one’s ethnic group. Suffice to say that, one’s mother tongue is an apparent indication of where he/she hails from.

Fidei Polytechnic Students Continue their Rampage

What on earth triggered this kind of destruction by the students of Fidei Polytechnic Gboko?

Well, reports have it that the school authority after charging outrageous fees, have not not given enough time for students to pay and do their online registration, thereby baring most of the students from entering the examination halls. Tue students it was reported, started protesting peaceful when they saw men of the Nigeria police drefted to quail the situation. The protest howvere turned bloody with one of the protesters dying in the process.

Benue State governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom has ordered the immediate arrest of the state publicity secretary of the PDP Mr. Bemgba Iortyom for mounting a bill board in Makurdi. Benue State University School Fees: Supplementary List Released.

The Management of the Benue State University, Makurdi has released the addendum list for admission into first degree programmes for the 2015/2016 academic session.

Candidates who applied for admission into Benue State University, Makurdi for the 2015/2016 academic session are required to:

1. 1. Proceed to the designated banks within Benue State and pay a non-refundable admission verification fee of N400 and obtain a receipt with a pin. The designated banks are; Fidelity Bank Plc, ECO Bank Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, Unity Bank, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc and Zenith Bank Plc, Diamond Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Sterling Bank Plc and Skye Bank Plc.
